The upstairs rooms (room 214 in my instance) have ceiling beams that span the room. They certainly did NOT offer any monetary accommodation. The management didn't seem like this was new information and didn't seem to care. I collected about 18 of these little bugs, but there were more. I thought it was no big deal until later in the evening when I had to start slapping gnats that were landing on my arms and face while I tried to go to sleep. The sliding glass door on the pool-side of the room didn't close all the way at the top, exposing a gap of a 1/4 to 3/8 inches.
